PC fair & High School Musical Summer Celebration@ KL ConVec

went to KL Convention Center last Friday for two reasons; to get myself a netbook at the PIKOM PC Fair 2009,

and to watch High School Musical Concert-Summer Celebration with Laith (exclude mehubby for this one).

it was a horror to get there on a rainy Friday afternoon, massive traffic jam- bumper to bumper & people going to Friday prayers, lunch time & also to the fair & concert, i guess. managed to get there after having to park the car all the way at PNB Darby Park with an hour to spare before the concert started. went around the PC fair for a bit checking out what's the best deal for a netbook, decided what i wanted & got mehubby to get it for me while Laith & i went to watch HSM! :p

it was a 3pm show, the hall was practically empty!

kontrol macho punye budak! he sleeps with the HSM dvd on almost every night but refuses to sing & dance during the concert.

of course they're not the original HSM crew but they were good nontheless.
i was however kinda disappointed that they didn't do photo session after the show.

side track 1:
there was this family of six- a mother of 3 plus her two nieces arrived 45 mins late for the show becouse they got stuck in the traffic & had trouble finding parking space were offered to watch the evening show, that very same evening. it was thoughtful of the organiser to actually do that.

side track 2:
die hard fan~HSM crew wannabe. hehehe.. the lil girl had her East High cheer leading gear on!

after the show we rushed back to meet up with mehubby at the PC fair.

& he already bought melilnetbook- DELL inspiron mini 10 in blue~ sweet! at first i thought of getting it in red, but decided against it since red is for my golf stuff, so i picked blue cos it's my prime fav colour, after red.
i named it DLA (pronunce Delia) Boo.

after dinner, we all went home happy!

new addition to our family, welcome Leonardo & Raphael!!!

Laith bought Leonardo(previously known as Oogway (from Kung Foo Panda or it means tortoise in Mandarin ) from his school's bazaar a couple of weeks back. even though i have verbally & expressly objected to the idea when he told me the day before ( the bazaar) that he was going to buy the tortoise, simply because i don't think he's ready for any pets yet. secretly, i did hope that he would actually buy it...hehehe..why? because i used to have pet tortoises myself when i was younger- a dear college friend~Azita Aziz gave me as birthday present. they were in fact named after those cartoon characters~the ninja turtles too, Leonardo & Donatello, they were!

well since he only had enough money to buy just one, i took pity on Leonardo & bought him a freind that Laith decided to name him Raphael after i objected to Snake Eyes (The character from G.I Joe) hehehe....;)

from the picture i've no idea which one is which but real live, Leonardo is smaller than Raphael & is also less active, to be more precise, lazy butt!

we'll just see how long it would last until i will be the one who ended up looking after the two! ;P

Bargain Sales- BiG BaD Wolve book Sales vs MST golf warehouse sales

i had every intention to buy lots & lots of books at the book sales yesterday as opposed to mehubby who had from the very beginning was so looking forward to the golf sales since he thought it's high time for him to change his irons (golf) set.

well....let's just say it's just not meant to be... GOD had planned something different for me.

since we had to go to CIMBank Kelana Jaya branch we decided to head down to the golf sales first since it's just around the area. i hadn't plan to buy anything except & only except if they have cool bargains on golf caps or nice pair of sun shades..NO shirts, NO golf skorts (shorts that looks like skirts) NO anything else....simply N.O~ so i told myself...& what do i know.....

as i entered the main entrance i saw the most super- ultra- cool pair of golf shoes with an extremely super cool cut down price ( 50% cut down plus another 10% as MST i love golf member) that my jaw dropped right down at my feet! arghhhhhh......must be love at first sight.

Driver Lucy by Adidas

wearing my Driver Lucy the next day during my morning round.

i didn't even bother to pep talked myself that i do need a pair of new shoes, i just told myself i WANTED those shoes, end of story. they may not look anything like an ordinary golf shoes, & that's why i love it & they are amazingly comfortable. mehubby thinks they're cool too... so that's a plus!

mehubby on the otherhand, didn't get what he had in mind, ended up buying a few packets of tees , few pairs of gloves & a cap, BORING!!!!;P
next on agenda was to Amcorp mall, the one sale that i thought i was so looking foward to...well as i mention earlier, GOD had other plans!!;P

no doubt that most books were priced at RM8 each but they're mostly from unknown, unheard of authors. & a big portion of the sales was mostly school books.
i was very disappointed although mehubby did buy a few, i didn't find anything i like.

to those who love Sherilyn Kenyon...they're only RM8! (sorry picture bit blurry)

how we summed up the BIG BAD WOLF book sales: it is neither BIG nor Bad enough to our liking. but then again it's always the matter of preferences, i might not find anything interesting but other people might have. that's what life is all about hey!

asking for trouble!

Ladies, this car might look so cute & to those who love pink, it's just like the perfect car for u.
but be very realistic, it's not safe. do not ever think this car is cool. why, because this car represents trouble/ danger!

it's an easy target for bad people with horrid intentions. the moment they saw this car, they'd assume it belongs to a lady. unless u're well equipped with a black belt 'warna biru' with self defense, then it's a NO, NO!
