just bought my 2 weeks stock last weekend at BookXcess and now this...*double sighs* :(:(
& still, me wanna GO!!!!!!:O

memory booster punye cerite...

 here's what was on my mind...

* my memory is failing me these days... have to have memory booster to overcome this very unwelcome aging process!!! haish....:(

* bought a memory booster yesterday & forgot to bring it back with me, phewh lucky they do delivery....;P

* & yeah due to my 'nyanyuk'ness...i even gave them a wrong house number to deliver my memory booster, lucky they called to confirm..;P

so yeah that's what happened, got mehubby to drive me all the way to Setapak, bought a few health supplements but forgot to bring the memory booster back with me, so i called them up the next day..

me: hi semalm saya beli memory booster tapi lupa nak bawak balik...err macam ne ye (meaning to ask, do u do delivery or reimburse my money ke?)

sales personal (sp): ah ahlah itulah lepas akak balik, baru saya perasan saya lupa nak masukkan sekali dalam beg plastik tuh...aaa...akak datanglah sini ambik...

me: hahahaa (amboi-amboi sedapnye ko cakap kalau aku tak call ko buat tak tawu je ye....but said good naturedly)...walaupun namanye Setapak, saya jalan seribu tapak pon tak tentu sampai lagi...hahaha....

sp: err..akak tinggal mane ye?

me: semenyih! ha tulah takkan saya nak gi all the way just nak ambik satu botol tu kan...(since de dah admit de yg lupa masukkan sekali dalam my other health supplement plastic bag tu kan...i gladly played along & took advantage lah)

sp: oh kalau macam tu nanti kami poskanlah...alamat akak?

me: (dengan confident) macam kat dalam borang yang saya tulis tu lah...

sp: ah ok, ok, nanti saya poskan lah kat akak...

about an hour later...she called to confirm the address & read out the address that i had written on the form...

sp: 1046...

me: eh, eh salah-salah...it's 1047...hehehe...*malu*( so to cover line i said) err...pasal tulah i need to take the memory booster..hehehe alamat pun lupa! ;P

ishhh...being forgetful is seriously not fun at all....*sigh*

so there to all my fan out there...the blog is now officially updated..."blush" camlah ade pon...;P

fuwaaaaaaa.....it's been a longgggggggg time....but oh well y not kan...just not in da mood to hupdate nak bat camne....anyway, the mood's back now...just a lil mix emo incident that happened a couple of days ago & tot i'd write so to help the dark feelings go away....

so here goes...

sedang aku saya menikmati tempe masak jawa hasil ayer tangan kak meme (since k. meme took over the cooking from tok lat, kami sering disajikan dengan masakan bertema kan tempe & jawa...that is pedas tapi sedap)..together with sam & kak mis, terdengarlah suara tok lat berpok pek, pok pek kat dining sofa tu, i took no notice cos khusyuk makan & tot that she was talking to eric. then tetibe dengar namaku disebut..i looked up & saw that she was actually talking to me...haishh... toklat nih, horang tengah makan tempe nak jadi muka lawa cam khir toyo nih, kacau lah...:P

tok lat: yapyapyapyapyaping....
me: ha nape tok lat?
tok lat (dengan muka disappointed & suara yang tinggi): ni ha hari tu awak kata nak bawak saya (i didn't say i was gonna tak her in the 1st place, she just assumed so) pergi spital 10 haribulan(Nov) ni ha dah 15hb dah ni dah lepas dah nih, dah lepas dah...

*otak still blur sebb still sebuk fikir pasal tempe yang hebat tu...*
me: huh!? ape de tok lat?

so she repeated herself...& tambah: ni dah lepas dah ni dah lepas, dah habis dah...dah tak de lagi dah tak de dah nak pergi lagi...

me: err...lah tok lat, mane saya tawu bile, tok lat yang pegang appointment card, card  tu tulis bile?

toklat: 10 haribulanlah...awak yang cakap haritu...ni dah 15 haribulan dah...

when she said 10 haribulan i could acknowledge but when she said dah lepas & that hari tu was 15 haribulan i was like..eh apalak tok lat cakap nih...kompius, kompius...

me: harini brapa haribulan tok lat?
tok lat: 15

i asked again..& she insisted it's the 15th...
masa tu nasiblah baik sam & kak mis ade n menyampuk sambil tengok calendar...

kak mis: hari ni 8 haribulan lah mak bulat...

and

sam: ha ah hari ni 8 haribulan lah tok lat ( he should know better cos he goes to school & they write dates all the time...)

but refused to listen she kept going on blaming me for forgetting to bawak de pergi spital until kak mis went to show her the date...& said: hari ni (isnin) baru 8 haribulanlah mak bulat, 10 haribulan hari rabu , lagi 2 hari lagi...!!

& tok lat being tok lat...she looked at the date, dengan muka tak bersalah, said nothing...sat quietly & sulked....*sigh* :(

haish... it's one thing to kene marah if betul she had actually missed the appointment date ( & that i am solely responsible for the welfare of her hospital visits)  but to kene marah for the appointment that is still good to go & suppose to be 2 days away just because she skipped that whole week to be the week after (the raya haji week) is another lah kan...:(

hhhmmm..dunno whether to laugh or to cry..funny haha that she totally skipped the whole week, pissed off sbb tak pasal2, free2 je kene marah for something that not even my responsibility pon in the 1st place....;(

& there goes my selera makan tempe masak jawa that afternoon.... :(

went to a friend's wedding last Sunday nite...
in their fb event page stated that it's a garden do & guests were advised to wear...

...wearing white as a bride is a (western) tradition, wearing white as a guest at a wedding is not a good idea, wearing a 'long  bride like white dress" complete with hair properly coiffed up is a definite NO-NO!!!

albeit without the tiara & veil, u're still way too much, shame on u missy!!!

  even if it is part of the colour code in the event page.. one has 2 other color options to wear aside from white...which is cream or gold...

like Siti & i~ even though they look like a couple of going to party dresses...& probably a lil under dress for the wedding,  but at least we didn't (or even try to) outdo the bride yo! ;P

so shall we have the decency &  leave white for only the bride ( & may be the groom too )please.....

to Mash & Nini, Congratulations!!! May u two (plus+) live happily ever after...

MPO Celebrates 25 Years of Sheila Majid...(11010)

1) despite the fact that u expected us to loosen up & misbehave as in be ourselves ~despite the fact that we were at Dewan Filharmonic Petronas that when u have a dress code (formal- Lounge Suits/ Batik) u are expected to behave a certain way....or at least that's how i was led to believe...


2) despite the fact that i am going totally deaf from my usual partially deaf ears no thanks to a row of Annoying Inconsiderate Selfish Cackling Hyena BITCHES that sat behind of our row at the circle  whom i expected to behave much better then those seated at the cheap shits seats at the stall...

3) despite the fact that i had to listen to their (refer to despite no. 2 above)  comments sharing & appreciation out loud as though they were some radio football commentators (thinking that they're the only one who could see what's going on while telling the listeners in details), laughing  & screaming away like a gang of banshees..behaving as though they're the only ones sitting in their bloody living room irrespective of other paying fans trying to enjoy the same performance as much as they ....

4) despite that we had to pay more but were seated (good view for people with good eye sight though. despite the fact that i opted for my lenses rather then my glasses...) compared to those paying cheap shits seats but got to sit closest to the stage (even though they had to strain their neck to see sheila's & the rest of the MPO's crew instead of  seeing just their feet...(who are they to complain anyway)....

5) despite the fact that the rules & regulations stated that the dress code for the nite is formal that there were still some morons who came in their most casuals 'go KLCC type' of attire whom were  still allowed in...

6) despite the fact that the r&r says camera is not allowed in the hall ( that i dutifully & took the risk & left mine in the car~ despite the fact that i seldom left the car/ home without it) that those whom their otak letak kat kepla lutut still un embarrassingly disobeyed the r & r; happily snapping away...(jealous sebenarnye tu!) that i don't have even one picture at the event...

7) despite that i don't have  even one  single picture at the concert due to the above point (refer to despite no. 6) with my newly bought dress (refer to despite nos 1 & 5) specially for the concert that cost me RM87... hehehe..not much but still...(which probably a blessing that i get to wear it again for the next upcoming wedding in 2 weeks time...if we were to go that is... ;) )

8) despite the fact that we had to listen to the unofficial back up singers that we certainly didn't pay to come listen to...

9) despite that  i settled for just miming to all the songs in respect to the other people whom  i'm pretty sure did not pay to come to listen to me singing instead.... that would either cause hail storm in KL that nite or people just simply cringe to death at the sound of my singing...

10) despite the fact that mehubby was totally besotted & lost in his own world the moment Sheila came out on stage ( &probably didn't even remember that i was there too) ...but then again who wouldn't...(.be mesmerized that is).... duhhhhhhh...;P

despite all of the above.....

it's a wonder how a voice like that came out from a person as petite as u...~ so i guess what the saying says about 'great things come in small packages" is so true...

if u dedicate the song Lagenda to the one & only Tan Sri P. Ramlee, we dedicate that same particular song to u & I'm pretty sure no one can deny it.

& Kudos too to Kevin Field & the MPOs for a fantastic accompaniment to Sheila's performance that nite. U guys were Excellent!!!

since i didn't have any pics taken for this particular concert (refer to despite no.6), here's the one from when she performed  & launched her Ratu album in London in 1996 where i was one of the work committee members then.
