Laith pre- sunat berendam @ Sungai Tekala

it was a spur of the moment plan. mehubby n meBil` Kerry had a meeting that morning in KL, decided to leave laith n i at mePiL's house so that he could play with mike & sam before his sunat that evening at 4. mePiL went out shopping & i was kinda bored n anxious at the same time so i decided to take laith to berendam (like what they used to do in the old days instead of kene spray dgn pipe bomba these days...)at sungai tekala.  guess the idea of  berendam is just to ease the anxiety of the boy who is about to part with his baby skin forever....sape yang tak takut kan...umy de pon takut...*_*
so off we went to sungai tekala  some 10 minutes away from mePIL's house with mike, sam, kak mis, tagging along berikan sardinelah in that little kancil...;P

even though we kinda expected (apart from kak meme's confident remarks "ala mesti ramai orng hari ahad cuti sekolah camni, mesti tak ade parking punye...kalau nak pegi tadi, pegi pepagi...)that since it's a school holiday sunday  the place would be insanely packed we were however surprised to find quite a number of parking spaces around...Hoye!!

Aidil Adha 2010

for many, many years our aidil adha was not celebrated. it was usually spent either quietly at home watching DVDs, go out shopping or a movie outing..
this year though...well like a lot of things that happened this year, aidil adha this time around was somehow different. for one jomey is finally married & for once requested for a family photo with his wife which we missed out doing during Aidil fitri since kerry & sue went back to klang n we went back to shah alam on the eve of the 1st day of raya for the very 1st time and Jomey went back to johor on the 1st nite of raya & however we tried to arrange a postdated photo session it was not to meet everyone's personal planning & timing....hence no aidil fitri raya pic on this side of the family this year...

it's suppose 2 b jomey & aisha's first family raya pix together but when there are more then 1 or 2 persons posing for the camera...err..& not just one camera that is....the result..well what u see is what u get...;P

even though we only planned to just stay up to lunch & leave for a movie outing, we however stayed  on till dinner before we headed back for home...knackered.

Yeay~ it's finally cuti!!!! officially today but for Laith, Wednesday~ the day of Aidil Adha break was when he started his cuti, dapat greenlight from his aby....;P

officially, tuesday nite tuh, my phone's alarm sudah kasi switched off...haaaaaaaaaa....bliss.......for the next 6 weeks ....:D

for a bit, no need to worry about bed time, morning wake up n snoozes and such....
come to think of it...how time really sprinted cos i tot i just wrote about the same topic just awhile back...

anyway this cuti sekolah is gonaa be different cos Laith is gonna be a BIG boy....he's finally going to part with his baby skin forever this weekend....

oh anakku, cannot call him baby anymore can i...*sigh*...;(

met kak zan who works for DBP yesterday when she came visiting at mePIL's said, it simply means work committee meeting to determine who'd do the cooking, the ushering, the washing, the traffic control etc...during the day...pasal tulah dorng buat a week before the date.
oooOh...alkisahnye...my cikgu BM dulu tak sempat ajar sampai topik "mendudukan orang" nak bat camnerkan...;P

anyway, thank u kak zan for that lil bit of bahasa melayu lesson...appreciate it very much **mmMWahh**

my almost completed Jeffrey Archer's collection...n i manged to find all 3 volumes of prison diary finally, yeay!! n...they were all RM8 each double yeay!!!!

n the undead series by mary janice davidson...never read them before but i tot i'd give 'em a go...

oh n my.. erghh...i forgot to snap the individual pics but on my big pile pic above, i also bought 2 madeleine wickham (before she became sophie kinsella) books as well as marley & me...

the books were blindingly many...the heart says More....the money in the purse says NO!!!!!

the hole in the pocket caused by the 2 visits combined among the 3 of us: laith, mehubby & me was RM260..hmmm.... not bad at all hey if the money wasn't actually to use for Laith's sunat this weekend!!! haish...;P

the incident happened at Tesco Pasir Gudang ~ Saturday, 13th Nov 2010 to my BsIL ~ kerry & jomey and also a colleague fairiz when they went to Johor for work.

that was the 3rd incident i came across not personally (thank God, Alhamdulillah for that) but to someone i knew or a friend of someone i knew...the 1st one happend to a cousin & her hubby also at tesco (but the one in Ampang, i think) apart from the laptop, they also took her bracelet that was given to her by my late grandma which she err...carelessly kept in the car for some reasons.:'(

the other incident happend to a friend of mehubby who parked the car right in front of the office in the busy street of Kota Damansara. an hour later, came back to the car & saw the car has been broken into. the result? the laptop's gone!!!:(

sometimes  if things were to happen no matter however careful u are, if it's fated to happen it will happend...like if u didn't get ur car broken into then there's the horror of ur house being broken into or the terror of snatch thieving...either way...please be extra careful these days. 

it's not about the computer or the camera as people always say...hmm..ok apart from that u  have to fork out money here & there to get the new one that is...it's what in there..the work, the play the memories in there that are irreplaceable!

so here's a friendly slap on the butt:  if it's not to find just another excuse to get a new one...watch ur back front, right & left & do back ups(for ur laptop)! 

 last but not least,

may all the disgustingly frightful robbers & thieves died the gruesome death...!!! amiin...
